Assembly Technician
Second Shift - M-F 4:
30 PM - 1:
00 AM
Skyworks is looking for Assembly Technician to support qualifications and qualification Readiness on New Product, Package and Process Qualifications functions.
This includes performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team assembling semiconductors under a stereo microscope using a liquid dispenser, tweezers, and other small hand tools
- Prepare materials for production use (i.
e.
staging, measuring, mixing, etc.
) - Perform visual inspections before and during the assembly process
- Track workload thru the Asssembly and Test portal
Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience Required
- 5 years minimum experience in semiconductor processing is preferred
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work under a stereo microscope
- Good hand eye coordination, dexterity, and basic clean room proficiency
- Ability to monitor and assess self-performance
- Meticulous attention to detail and able to understand work related documents
- Hands on, Cooperative, Team Player, and Positive Attitude a Must
This is a temporary/contract position working through a staffing agency.
The person selected in this role will not work directly for Skyworks but will be payrolled through a staffing agency.
