Position Summary

The SkyOne Product Line Manager will drive activities from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. In this role, you will serve as the central product line specialist for your assigned product line(s) and work with design engineering, project management, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Your responsibility and involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product. Your ability to manage cross-functionally across a matrix organization will be vital to your overall success.

The SkyOne Product Line Manager will be responsible for supporting all efforts to drive the growth and sustained success of Skyworks' complete SkyOne and PDF Front-End solution platforms, including SkyOne Modules, Diversity Receive Modules, FEMIDs, and filters with the Skyworks' Mobile Solutions Business Unit.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Lead and automate financial data reporting for your assigned product line (revenue, cost, gross margin, etc.)
2. Represent the voice of the customer in development meetings to track & ensure timely product development execution that meets customer quality and schedule requirements. Maintain a high-level product line schedule summary.
3. Lead part approval documentation completion:
(1) PPAPs, (2) qualification documents, and (3) datasheets, which are critical of our market share growth.
4. Identify gross margin improvement scenarios and lead cost reduction efforts.
5. Work with Design and Finance regularly to create, audit, and update product cost models, keep a track of product cost from conception until EOL.
6. Lead design audits, work with cross-functional teams to create clear and high-quality presentation material, and present to the customer as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Product Marketing - Business case feasibility to ensure that new products will meet BU goals.
2. Customer Quality Engineer and Marketing - Support customer RMAs and product performance issues.
3. Program Management, Supply Chain Management, and Demand Management - Help ensure a successful prototype to production ramp.
4. Customer Quality Engineer - Customer quality audit preparation and presentation.
5. TMG Program Management - Supply guarantee, PCNs, and cost reduction efforts.
6. Reliability Engineering - Monitor reliability testing schedule to ensure that these are aligned with customer needs, support Reliability with data reporting.
7. Segment Marketing - Product cost for bundle margin analysis.
8. Application Engineering and Design Engineering - Ensure that datasheet content is optimized for enhanced customer satisfaction. #LI-DB1

The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Product Line Management.

Requirements:

BSEE
8 years experience, or MS
6 years, or PhD
3 years. Financial savvy.
8
years of experience in semiconductor development, design, applications, product management, or marketing.
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
A passion to win and contribute
Ability to work in, and thrive in, a team environment
Experience in data analytics and VBA Excel programming (preferred).
