Job Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Intern who will help increase the utilization of our newly launched HR System. The intern will work closely with the HR Team and with leaders across the organization to ensure that they are using the technology to its fullest, as well as to gather insights into how we can improve its adoption. This internship will provide a great opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of HR processes, HR Systems, build management relationships, develop training skills and how it all ties in with the greater organization. This position will be based either in our office in Newbury Park, CA or Woburn, MA.
Responsibilities
- Meet with managers to understand how they are currently using the HR System and show them how to better use the system, answer questions, and optimize their system setup.
- Gather feedback from managers and HR on how Skyworks can further optimize the HR System for increased adoption, e.g. through training material and documentation, process changes, and creation of data dashboards and reports.
- Summarize and present findings from adoption meetings and work with HR Technology and HR Business Partners on putting together a strategy for improving adoption
- Assist with creating and updating training material and system tutorials to further the adoption of the HR system by managers and employees.
- As applicable, assist with improving HR reporting and analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Available from June-August 2021 or September-November 2021
- Current junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree within the area of Human Resources, Information Technology or a similar field
- A passion for technology and a strong interest in optimizing the user experience
- Good communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Inquisitive mindset to interview and research
- Ability to train all levels of management on data analyst system
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
